AKA Word is a Norwegian and English word game with daily challenges, free play, AKA Word Journey and private live matches.

AKA WORD JOURNEY

Play five connected stages that alternate between Norwegian and English, increase from three to seven letters and combine into one score.

PLAY TOGETHER

Create a private friend or family match and share the six-character room code. The round starts simultaneously on iPhone and Android. Choose language, word length, difficulty, time and number of rounds. The scoreboard tracks points, wins, losses and draws, and rematches keep the same room code.

HINTS AND ADVERTISING

You receive one free hint each day. You may voluntarily watch one rewarded ad for one extra hint. Each ad must be started by the player. Ordinary ads never cover the active game board. An optional one-time purchase at the local store price removes banner and interstitial ads. It is not a subscription.

AKA Word requires no personal account or email address. Online play uses an anonymous technical player ID and private room codes. Online player data can be deleted directly under Privacy in the app.

Recent changes:
English is now the default language, with Norwegian available during onboarding and in Settings. This update also improves language selection and the international store experience.
