Comments on Aldiko Classic for Android

★★★★★ This version of the app is still okay. The problem is, the developers forced everyone to switch to Aldiko Next, which is garbage. I was able to delete that, install this, and restore my books on this one. BUT all the data that stored how far you'd read into each book was gone forever. Really really annoying.

★★★★★ This is my favorite ebook reader! It has ways to catagorize, subcatagorize, & rate your books. Update: recently the app has started reloading as if I've closed the app when I lock the screen or switch to a diff app. I then have to search for the book i was reading and reopen it. Seems like not a big deal, but after the thirtysomething time it gets really annoying. Please fix someone?!

★★★★★ Found I was upgraded to the new horrible version. Was very upset until found this classic version still available. This one does everything I want with a much better looking interface. Wish I could find the apk in case developer removes from play store.

★★★★★ Been using since 2014 Still the best of free book reader app👍👍👍👍

★★☆☆☆ I loved this app until the latest update changed the way books are formatted.

★★☆☆☆ I used to like this app, now, whenever I try to open a book it goes to review the app even though I've already given it 5stars. Never goes to the book itself.

★★☆☆☆ Developer deactivated the app In favor of a inferior "update" with broken features. Probably to get revenue from its online linked bookstore. This version worked and did what it supposed to. Many promises to "restore" missing features months from now. Time to find a new reader without a linked store.

★★☆☆☆ I had PAID for the premium version of this app, and now that I've changed to a newer tablet it seems I no longer have that paid version. Ripoff and this WAS an excellent app but I don't like this move.
