This is not an official amazon Alexa app. This app is created for the purpose to guide how to setup alexa enabled devices like echo, echo dot etc. For smooth and easy Alexa setup- you may refer the steps given in guide & enjoy listening to music, news updates, creating shopping lists, and much more, later. How to Setup Alexa App and Echo Device? - Know Your Steps! Get started with the steps for setup: Step 1: Plug-in Alexa Device Plug-in one end of USB cable in Echo power port and another end in power adapter. Insert your power adapter in electric socket and switch on the plug. Once Echo device receives power, check for the blue light ring on device top. The light ring will change automatically to orange implying, the device has entered setup mode. Step 2: Download Alexa App Android users may refer Google Play store while iOS users can access App Store to download Alexa App. Open the store i.e., compatible with your phone. Type and Download Alexa App on your mobile device. Follow on-screen instructions to complete Alexa App installation on your mobile. You’ll see ‘Alexa App Install complete’ message after the process finishes successfully. Step 3: Alexa App Setup Touch Alexa App icon on your mobile to launch the program. Tap on ‘Choose Your Device’ drop-down box and make your choice from the list (i.e., Echo, Echo Dot, Echo Plus, Echo Spot, Echo Show, Echo Sub, Echo Input, or Tap). Fairly simple. Not so simple if you can't follow direction. Works well, controls smart devices in one place. Very happy. There is a period of 'idiocy' one needs to allow for the AI to get the feel for what each individual expects as for answers/ information(I've realized worth both Google Nest and Alexa Echo, but become better each day (still not as good as using my android phone when asking random questions, and definitely not as factual with Alexa, but still useful). Recipes are easy

I started to set it up.got upset and needed help. Some Indian man got on the phone and said he would help me. But I had to download another app, and then he could help me. I got a weird vibe and told him I didn't have to do all this before. Then I hung up. He actually called me right back. I had to block him and I know he was trying to scam me. They're still in the box and haven't been installed. Now I think some creepy guy in India would be able to listen to me or even see me somehow

SCAM! AI assistant asks for your name and number then has a tech support agent call you. When their help fails, they ask you to download ultraviolet to gain access to your laptop device. Tech agent also tried to figure out my age, "You seem the same age as me". Seems suspicious to me... Don't recommend. The correct Alexa App is a blue square with Alexa written in white.
