Comments on AlfaOBD for Android

Let me set my oversized tire size on my 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland. I put bigger tires on my Jeep and the ABS light came on. Something the dealer couldn't help me with. Got my abs light out for C0078-86 Invalid tire size. This app let me access the body controller and allowed me to manually write the tire size in millimeters, it also provided an updated list with dozens of tire brands and sizes compared to the 10 or 12 factory sizes that most scan tools will let you choose from. Best OBD scan tool for Alfa Romeo cars when using Android phones. This is the licensed with all features enabled, not just a scan tool to check and reset engine errors. It can access all the ECU modules like engine, transmission, abs, body, Proxy, among others. And it allows doing maintenance actions on the ECU modules as well, like change oil, proxy alignment, brake service, among others.

Worked perfectly for 2014 Dodge Ram Bighorn. I bought the Bespeak dongle from Amazon for $15 worked like a charm. Takes time to understand the program but research and YouTube helped quite a bit. Was able to install and activate ventilated seats on my truck with this app. Already had driverside power seats and heated seats as well, so the power was there already for the new seats as the wires already existed. I enabled the vent seats through Alfa and bam just like that I had vent seats.

Failed proxy alignment, zero support. I paid $52.25 for the app's proxy alignment feature, but it keeps failing. I contacted the developers immediately. They asked for my log files, which I sent right away, but they have completely ghosted me since. I sent multiple follow-up emails requesting support or a refund, but they refuse to answer. For such an expensive app, ignoring paying customers with a broken product is unacceptable. Avoid until they fix their customer service.

Was 5 star, now after update it doesn't work. It links with the module then won't respond. The screen says an off gray like it's not responding. Worked flawless for years. Pls fix devs. Will update review after fixed

I got this app because I read that you could access a 66rfe transmission clutch values. I wanted to test them just to get an idea of how my transmission is holding up. You can not do that for the 66rfe. They have that option for the 68rfe. Which it is a very similar transmission, so I'm not sure why they don't allow that for the Hemi transmission. I wrote the app creator, and they didn't respond with any help
