Comments on Altimeter for Android

★★★★★ Akhil Krishnan · Mar 8, 2025

Best app for altitude tracking, integrating GPS, Internet and Barometer based location data. Using the premium version of this app from several years, really worth it.

★★★★★ Michael Padi · Jun 10, 2025

I use the app to measure the speed of an aircraft, it's height from the ground and current location. I can also use it to record my track of movements.

★★★★★ Ronald Beaver · Dec 9, 2025

Extremely accurate. If my raise my cell phone one foot, the elevation increases by 1 ft. You can't ask for more!

★★★★★ Yashesh Joshi · Feb 22, 2025

One of the best altitude gauging apps out there. Quite accurate too. Simple UX and very easy to use. Has other features, such as, Record Activity (Distance Covered) but don't use them much. BEST PART, it workd offline! Very handy for a hiker.

★☆☆☆☆ Erik LaBine · Sep 17, 2026

Ad riddled mess that doesn't even give an accurate GPS altitude. It seems like it reported the height of the terrain based on the latitude and longitude rather than reporting the actual GPS height. Worthless garbage with 5 second long full screen ads.

★☆☆☆☆ Jeff Foster · Jun 22, 2026

Trying to find an elevation or altimeter widget. This app has one that disappears as soon as you try to set it up.

★☆☆☆☆ Roger Curley · Apr 24, 2025

Warning this app contains advertising that Demands a credit card promises not to charge card but repeatedly charges me I had to cancel my credit card the app itself is fine I love the functionality of it, but it's unnerving that it has advertisements that will fraudulently steal your money I wasted hours with this credit card fraud from an advertisement on this app which is too bad the app is fine itself, but it hosts fraudulent advertisers
