Seems to work very well. My only complaint is that the graph of loudness vs time is a very thin red line on a black background, which is almost impossible for many colorblind people to read. Light blue, white, or yellow on a black background, almost any color but yellow on a white background, and many other combinations can work for anyone. I don't like the ads either but seriously, folks, it's a free app. Don't complain.

Have used similar apps from EXA for long time. Has the ads which you can't blame really the devs on plus is good source for addl quick calibration. Appears a lot of Google LLC employees still use this as PS lists 'pub:EXA'. Support listing a little questionable as far as physical address but appear responsive. And when considering 'out of control' Google LLC policy violations this app helps mind off ongoing carrier Google CFAA violations.

Less free functions than others apps in the free version. I miss the threshold alert sound that others apps offer for free. In addition, I miss the choice of background working, I haven't seen it not even among the pay version functions they show in app.

It brings up many ads taking up the whole screen. It's difficult not accidentally clicking on an ad and inviting the trouble of credit card phishing or malware.

I have no way to test the accuracy, but it seems to be extremely inaccurate. I was testing a new horn, and it registered only 75 decibels. Phone was very close to the horn too. I was running a bath, app still open, and I noticed it was reading 75-77 decibels. 🤔 Uninstalling.
