I like having remote access to monitoring; I like the device. But, apparently there are two versions or two tools for setting up your Ambient Weather device. With the AWS net tool, I spent over an hour trying to get my simple temperature sensor to connect, and nothing worked. The interface didn't look the same as what's in the help/support tree and the instructions in this tool didn't work on my device. This Ambient Tool worked for me. Once I found this Ambient Tool, the interface matched the online instructions, and it took a minute to get connected and for my account to get updated. Be sure to get the right tool.

You have to have this app downloaded to be able to stream your data from your ambient osprey weather system to the internet after that you can uninstall this app and your information will still be available on ambient weather website for up to a year. It gott my ambient osprey working from the weather module to the internet 20 thumbs up for ambient formatting of the data collected from the osprey to their website it's beautiful streamless. Now Weather underground on the other hand wow that's nothing but a cluster Fu*ck, there's so much information on that website it's ridiculous, but I guess it's good if you really like the weather you got a simple website, and you got a more complex website, the one upset about Weather underground is that they log your data forever, so I'm happy very happy at the both of them

This is the app tool to connect your Ambient weather station to various
online weather databases (ambient weather, weather cloud &
weather underground - specifically). The interface is pretty simple and the
app doesn't hog resources. Once you're connected to your weather station
(WS-2902 in my case) you'll also have the option to update the weather
station's software (the firmware). That process is quite slow I've found
but works overall (largely depends on your Internet quality). And lastly,
connecting to the various online weather databases. Also, straightforward
and impressed at Ambient weather letting me connect to other options and
not just their website as I very much enjoy the weather underground app.

Doesn't work with Android 9. I upgraded routers and tried to reconnect, no luck. Went back to the old router and now the ws-2902 won't even connect there.

New router required new setup of WS2902 unfortunately the app doesn't work. Not with Apple or Droid. When using Apple it won't connect to the Wi-Fi network. Says please connect, even though I am connected on 2.4 with 5ghz disabled. Droid allows a network password to be entered but times out. I followed all directions, reinstalled app, restarted, etc. but nothing works. It is a shame as the Ambient Weather app and sync with WU had been solid.
