This airline is a joke. They just told us our plane was pushed back 3 hours (making us miss our next connecting plane) and that we had to go talk to the front ticket people. Get to the front ticket people, and they say they have to change our tickets to a tomorrow flight. While rescheduling the new tickets they tell us they can't pull our bags from the plane because the plane was leaving in 10 minutes. So they told the plane wouldn't leave for 3 hours, change our tickets, then send our bags off

My family of 10, including 5 children and 1 senior, flew from Dallas to Costa Rica a week ago. Trying to get home has been an absolute nightmare. We have had our flight canceled two days in a row now, spent countless hours trapped in the airport, waiting in line, trying to figure out solutions with American Airlines employees, and having issues with American Airlines not properly communicating with customs to where part of our group of 10 was detained for an additional hour. Do better
