AMS Connect – Patient Engagement App
A convenient and intuitive mobile app designed for Australians to easily engage with their healthcare providers. The app helps patients make online bookings, request repeat prescriptions and referrals, and manage their interactions with participating clinics.
Important: This app does not provide medical services, clinical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or care. It is not a medical device. All healthcare services are delivered solely by your chosen healthcare provider.
Patients can search for clinics registered with AutoMed Systems and book appointments directly. Appointment details can be viewed at any time, and patients can cancel or make additional bookings with just a few taps. Appointments are confirmed in real time, with no follow‑up actions required. Family members can also be added for easier management.
The services, appointment types, and times shown in the app are determined by your clinic. If a specific appointment type is not visible, please contact your clinic directly during business hours.
With optional features that allow aggregation of health data stored on your device, you can also present historical information - such as activity or vital trends from connected devices - to your healthcare professional during your appointment. This information is displayed solely for your convenience and is not interpreted or analysed by the app.

Fantastic, convenient and easy to use when making an appointment at your preferred clinic. Allows you to see all the available practitioners and their available times. Simple to make a booking which saves the headache of ringing the clinic. My wife had problems signing up but a quick email to the app creators who responded almost immediately sorted the problem. Great app and could not be happier.

New appointment brings up the 'latest appt doctor'...well that's not my Doctor, so I have to go hunting every time. As for adding the appt to Google / Outlook calendar, it seems hit & miss, there's no sign of confirmation it succeeded and when it does the description is based on the appointment type not something useful at a glance like the Doctors name, so I was constantly having to edit the appt each time. Essentially it's quicker to add it in manually.

Could not find/recover my medical record at my local GP, so I signed up as a new patient. Tried to enter my Medicare and Pensioner Concession card details, and it couldn't validate my details even though they were correct. Proceeded to come up with an error saying that it couldn't create an account with my local medical center and that I should try again. Tapping try again does nothing. This app is useless to me.
