This worked better than the Ancestry app. I don't like that after paying $100 for kits I have to pay a monthly subscription to Ancestry to look at the trees of people I matched with.

They found relatives I never knew existed. I learned so much about my maternal grandmother that I was named after, when before I knew absolutely nothing. My daughter who was given up for adoption found me through this app, and I never knew that was possible and now we are getting to know each other and I got a chance to see her and am so happy that she was raised by a good loving family and that I made the right decision. This app keeps finding lots of information throughout your membership.

The only thing this app is really useful for is creating a family tree. The main page has no links or pull down menus to access the research tools "all access" members pay extra for (newspapers & military records etc.). The cluttered "home page" is a disorganized mess of ads & irrelevant information. You can't even edit the homepage, to make it more useful. The ethnicity estimates aren't as accurate as other DNA testing apps. It doesn't list paternal haplogroups or test for Neanderthal DNA...

Well this is absolutely worthless now. What a waste. the latest update news lost thrulines so the potential to find who the next gen up is gone. No one ever answers your email requests to view their trees to get hints (the hints in ancestry now are so out of whack they're not even worth using), so the deep reasons to buy ancestry dna 1) matches that may break thru brick walls or being able to see their public trees, and 2) having thru lines to at least investigate potential is gone

Terrible instructions. Waste of time. You confuse people. The app in kit doesn't look like what's available in app store. I can't register it. Con artists

This app abruptly closes all the time. For the amount of money they charge for a subscription, this is totally unacceptable. The hints are constantly repeated information, and even when you mark it as inaccurate, they still pop up. You're better off communicating with your DNA matches and foregoing the paid service.
