Comments on Ancient Allies Tower Defense for Android

★★★★★ Ian hale · Jul 14, 2023

This is the best TD game I have ever played. I really like the balance it has found for towers, they are all useful, instead of just using the most powerful one you have unlocked so far. I also like that the towers are the star and not overshadowed by heroes or spells or something else. I would like it if in the season rewards if unlocks you already have unlocked would give upgrade tokens for that tower instead but small complaint. Love this game!

★★★★★ Chris Ratelle · Jan 15, 2026

Amazing game! Challenging yet fun. The devs are always working on making it better. Especially if you love tower defense games! Prices are pretty reasonable, too, in the shop. Give this game a try. You won't regret it.

★★★★☆ liam hadley · Nov 16, 2024

Would give this game 5 stars if not for the pay wall. The game is firstly amazing plenty of content upgrades etc. u won't be bored. Aliens. Yes u can easily get tech but by the time you have upgraded your towers aliens are already wiping u out. The balance of getting u towers upgraded before aliens arrive is too long. Idevs have said in other posts no paywall and it's easy. Lol read the posts same problem raised and told. Go to discord

★★☆☆☆ Andrew Mills · Jan 27, 2025

First/Last targeting doesn't work which alone stops me from playing. Every little thing is monetized as usual including the alien upgrades, which is usually the most fun part about tower defenses but makes me not want to do it and save when I can.

★☆☆☆☆ Ryan · Nov 7, 2023

Way too difficult for beginner players and lots of features locked behind paywalls. Pay to win?

★★☆☆☆ Neil Tomkinson · Aug 25, 2023

Recent update, nerfed alien tech collection rate and camp level and increased the costs of upgrading scavengers whilst adding a new game mode that also uses alien tech. Increasing a player's need for alien tech. You have Effectively made impossible to play without having to pay for pro to be able to play regularly. And with no mention of the nerf or offer of compensation to players. It's a poor update. To a good game. This from a top 25 player is damning
