Great shredder, but slow as molasses. No technical assistance from the developer... doesn't exist. Shreddit offers better shredding algorithms... Andro doesn't even tell you what the algorithms are - just the number of overwrites. Apparently there's no random characters and even could be ALL just 1's or just 0's!!! Wrote to the developer twice to find out.... NEVER replies. I still keep it just because Shreddit, every couple of months, randomly stops working, and I have to uninstall/reinstall.

Using Andro Shredder v1.31 "old-school" ver. Bec. The new vers. Are buggy or won't even launch. Click WIPE should show 4 wiping areas : ❶ InSD, ❷ Em/0, and ❸ ExSD (Rem.) and ❹ SMS (Partition) 👍. Note: ❶ Int SD and ❷ Em/0 share the same Flash/SD card, but both must show so make sure all 4 partitions are shown. Best Use: Clear Device Cache prior to wiping 4 partitions at Min setting then Clr Dev Cac again then click WIPE will show free space increase in Int SD and Em/0 so wipe ❶ and ❷ again.

Have been using old version and totally satisfied. New version says things are shredded in just a second or two, but the files are still there. Can't be confident that wiped space is actually wiped. Hugely disappointed with update and already miss the old version. Better display in old version too. Would love the increased speed if it worked. Needed more and better testing. Now with further use am I updating the review to say that thumbnails of deleted files being left behind. Shredding is not working properly. Sometimes even full file gets left. Normal delete and then space wipe seems to work but this a very clunky workaround. Shopping for a new program now.
