★★★★★ I've tried a LOT of different podcast apps on Android hoping to find an equivalent to the excellent Overcast app on iOS. This is the one. Previously I was using Cast box but got fed up with the constant intrusive ads and 100 podcast limit. Antenna Pod has no ads, no podcast limit, a much better interface that looks great (unlike many Android podcast apps) and an excellent queue system. This is the absolute best Android podcast app, and it's free and open source. Can't fault it.

★★★★★ Finally, an Android app that gives you podcasts without being buggy, ad heavy, or requiring you to sell your soul to some evil corporation. It's just RSS. You wouldn't think this would have been so hard to find. But, here we are. A+

★★☆☆☆ Seemed cool at first for adding a private RSS feed - but when I attempt to search for a certain category of episode, it only shows me a limited set of search results going back only a few months with many missing results. So going to have to find an alternative app.

★★☆☆☆ Obviously this app is run by purple haired mentally ill leftist a-holes who like to put glitches on conservative podcasts, so there is no audio, like you do to Infowars War Room. What are you afraid of?? The truth? This isn't a one-off. It happens all the time and only on certain conservative podcasts and never anywhere else. Why can't you leave your politics at home and just do your job? Because you're actually the Fascists. I'd give you no stars if that was possible. Uninstalling.

★★☆☆☆ Open source is great, but this fails to refresh podcasts 100% of the time. A manual refresh of an individual podcast works but when done by timer or refreshing the main screen it is all SSL errors and hosts not found, despite it working immediately after showing that error. So it doesn't work great, but with no first party support we're left with the public. Meaning there isn't a good choice of podcast app, this one just won't give you eye cancer staring at ads.
