It always works on background. I keep stopping it but it wouldn't. I was planning on syncing my data from my watch every night so at least it would still keep track of my activities. It drains my battery because it keeps working in background.

This app is garbage. I have been using Apex for years and now that I upgraded the watch is useless because of this garbage app. I can see from the comments I'm not the only one. First off, won't stay connected, have had to remove and reinstall my watch several times. And this garbage app disables your phone's lock screen. Drains your phone battery trying to keep up with this worthless app. Would give 0 stars. I have uninstalled this garbage. Bad Form.

Please fix this app, most of the time stop recording. "There is no data for a long time"
