Comments on App Hive: Android Testing Hub for Android

A great simplified for the solo developer. Could use some adjustments around being able to better communicate with the engaged testers in your hive, but hits the mark keeping your android closed beta testing requirements on track.

Really great app for testing, since you're connecting with other developers the feedback is often very targeted and valuable, and everyone is socially incentivized to actually test everyone's apps, so I've had 2 games go live with help from app hive

The app for testing. So far have gotten production access on both apps submitted via the hive. Highly recommended

I found the app useful, got my 2 apps to prod through it But some of the rules are too strict, like I forgot my phone on which app hive was installed and went away for 3 days. I thought I would just install it on my primary phone to avoid missing the tasks. To my surprise, your account is bound to the phone so as expected my RP went down from 10 to 7 and there is no way to increase it, since you are blocked from everywhere, you can't pick up new tasks either. That's some black mirror stuff.

I'm getting game testers yea but the rules are horrible you have to test like 12 games to not lose points I have no storage in the first place. My phone was dead for three days, and I lost a load of points

Can't proceed on the submission of daily report since the implementation of auto countdown is started for 30s task execution, the countdown is incorrect

I put real effort into testing others' apps, providing useful feedback and proper screenshots. In return, I got zero effort—just basic screenshots with no comments or proof they actually used my app. Someone even left an offensive comment on my feedback screenshot. To make matters worse, I was banned without recourse over a simple typo in a screenshot. A completely one-sided, unfair system. Avoid.
