It is working properly on Android 15. It's not possible to trick it and get past without password. Although one shortcoming is that you can see the app content in recent apps section.

Great 👍 features, very economical, The best feature is that it cannot be uninstalled without knowing the password, reducing the chance of bypassing the application. Waiting for the websites block feature. 🙏🙂

RIP App Lock VIP. Thanks for the memories, I guess. I used this app for months, and I’m finally done. Fingerprint often fails, apps don’t open even after authentication, and the home screen freezes with “Press Home button.” I tolerated the bugs, but now full-screen ads regularly block the phone. ₹30/month, ₹230/year, or ₹1000 lifetime just to remove ads from an app lock is ridiculous. Same bugs, worse ads, worse experience. Uninstalling now.

Update: Unfortunately, I had to uninstall the app due to the annoying video ads that appeared whenever I was connected to the internet. It became frustrating, especially when I urgently needed to open an app and had to waste time trying to skip an ad. Old 5-star review (months ago): The app has been excellent so far, especially because it has no ads at all. Thank you for being honest about keeping it ad-free—I really hope this doesn’t change in the future like in many other apps.
