Description
This is an alarm clock app for Android which allows you to open other apps of your choice when it rings and allows you to dismiss the ringing alarm by shaking the phone. **Salient features** 1. Works offline. 2. No advertisements. 3. Alarms are unique by alarm time. This means that you cannot have two alarms at the same time, even if they are on different dates. 4. Each alarm is independent of other alarms. This means that the alarm volume, ringtone, etc. will not be carried over to another alarm unless you do so manually. 5. Inbuilt dark theme, even in phones that do not support it. 6. Snooze your alarm as many times as you want with custom snooze options. 7. The alarm is handled by a Service which has almost no dependency on the UI. So, even if your UI freezes, the alarm will ring and can be dismissed. 8. Uses latest Android Room database for storing alarms. 9. Actively maintained app. Bug reports will be worked upon with high priority.
Recent changes: Tired of pressing the power button/swiping the screen every time an alarm rings? Does your phone's UI have a tendency to freeze, thereby making it impossible to dismiss an alarm? No worries! You have come to the right place. With this update, you can simply shake your phone and dismiss the alarm.

Wanted an app that automatically opens an app at a preset time. Thought this might do it. It triggers an alarm, but, it doesn't actually open the app until the alarm is acknowledge / dismissed. In my case, the alarm (sounding) isn't really required. Would be great if it could trigger very frequently...say every hour etc. Can't do that with this atm as I'd need to set multiple alarms (24 for every hour!?) Required for a remote application to start an app automatically & wake the phone out of sleep.

Used this to launch some gearVR games I sideloaded, that wouldn't show up in the oculus thing :)

Please keep up the good work. I like how it opens apps at a certain time. Maybe it could be a daily feature to, for example, open a certain app every Mon - Sat at 9am. Thank you, it's great so far!

This is so oddly specific and will not let you open apps immediately

Complete garbage. Zero stars. This app is an alarm clock not an app opener.

Well it doesn't work, you have to actually have the App Opener open with screen unlocked, and then it does it, but then it beats the purpose....

Trust & Safety: The app requests a broad set of permissions typical for alarm and launcher-like functionality (foreground service, exact alarms, boot completion, notification access, overlay, internet, storage). It also includes a dynamic receiver permission (DYNAMIC_RECEIVER_NOT_EXPORTED_PERMISSION) and a SET_ALARM permission. This aligns with its feature set (alarm handling, dismissal, and app launching) but users should review requested permissions to assess privacy and security implications.
