I have tried at least half a dozen appointment apps and most have been unsuitable for my needs. The ability to generate appointment confirmation and reminder texts is essential. I had almost given up, until I installed Appointment Planner. The interface is easy to read and so far works without any glitches. I bought premium version very quickly as you just can't use it with the adverts popping up all the time, which is very annoying. 4 stars given (5 if it integrated with Google Calendar).

Got the premium to keep a group schedule for work, sat for an hour trying to add each other's emails, so we can join a shared calendar. Doesn't let us join even though we've entered each others emails multiple times. What a waste how do I get a refund.

I updated this rating on January 15th 2021. There is no recurring scheduling. Recurring appointments have to be entered manually every single time. The feature that used to automatically send texts stopped working over a year ago. This developer charges a subscription but does not address the above issues. I strongly recommend not purchasing the pro version because it just means you can schedule more than 15 appointments. You will receive nothing else.
