The speed meter needs updating. Only at low speed below 10 knts you will see decimal point e.g 8.3 knts or 9.8 knts. Higher speed there is no dismal point e.g. 19 knts to 20 knts and so on But never 19.3 knts or 19.4 knts or 20.5 knts .

Absolutely must have. An outstanding replacement for Avionics (later - Garmin) android app. It offers the same (or better) functionality and annual subscription for NZ maps for only NZ $5 (vs NZ $100 for Avionics).

As a follow-up on previous post: The app seems to have stabilized and now loads up and holds onto downloaded charts. It has not crashed again. It puts much information that previously took a lot of time to gather for cruising long distances. Having it on Android device helps to quickly look up info. Needed on a cruise. If I can get it to work on Windows OS with emulator, will be a great 2nd nav. Program.

Despite being in the Play Store, it does not work on a Chromebook. The Android phone and tablet version is a 3.5 / 5 stars, but this warrents 0 stars.

The lack of automatic routing is a dealbreaker. Maps in Canada are incomplete and have significant GPS offsets. It is probably fine if you are 100% familiar with your area of navigation but dangerous if you are going to a new area. Also, Charts are not free during the trial - pay money for incomplete charts. Very sad. Run away fast from this until it gets at least 2010-level capabilities. EDIT: After response from developer, am I removing the App and hoping for a refund for the inaccurate charts.

The "map" is really just a crude pic of the US that disappears and goes black as soon as you try to zoom in.
