Finally connected to the pump. Anyone looking for a how-to, try this. Once downloaded and registered etc. select add device. ONLY smart setting works. Find your Wi-Fi Make sure the app is permitted to use location services in the phone settings. Enter your Wi-Fi password when prompted by the app. Unplug the controller power lead from the bottom. Next, confirm your Wi-Fi password. When it starts to connect to Wi-Fi, plug in the power to the controller. And it appears quick. ** Keep router next to you

App not fit for purpose, keeps deleting dosing programs and the app is the only way to control doser, which is critical in a reef environment.

Total disaster of an app, one time I needed to turn off the pump while I was on vacation, suddenly decided to tell me my account doesn't exist, although it worked fined for a year. Ruined a tank worth $10000 for this stupid reason. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT!!!

At least I was able to connect after some days...week's... 2 issues: worst handling I can imagine... If the pump is off, I would suggest something RED to remind you, that the device is off, so that you think about, if it's that what you want... And NOT a gray and light blue icon of the pump what show's you a working device, (with xx percent) when opening... Also, it would be nice to be able to change the feeding time (duration) with the app for the controller or directly on the controller...
