Loved the app, but the new update would not load. I deleted and tried to reinstall app, but hangs up. I tried installing other apps, and they load just fine. Cleared cashe and data on Google Play Store several times and the app still will not load. Glitch in the matrix? I will see what tech support has to say. Update: I do not know why, but I tried the update with Wi-Fi turned off, and it Immediately took.

The Polaris Scout pool robot is excellent. The app, not so much. The app seldom works right. And by seldom I mean never. The dreaded "firmware update error" comes up almost always. It is surprising that a good company like Polaris would allow a garbage app like this tarnish it's otherwise excellent reputation.

Great cleaner, horrible Android app. Thank God I have an iPad too because although the android app and iPad app look the same, the android one is full of bugs. The iPad app works flawlessly. Android app constantly says the firmware update failed and doesn't allow you to do anything because it just resets to the main screen. Also the remote hardly works on android app and lift system also bugs out and doesn't spin or respond correctly. Again iPad app these functions work fine but not android.
