Faut faire avec Impossible de télécharger un livre acheté sur Archambault sans cette application, ce qui est inconvenant puisque j'utilise normalement d'autres liseuses mieux adaptées à mes besoins. Il aurait été plus pratique pour moi d'accéder au catalogue du magasin ou à mes achats par le standard OPDS, ou même par un simple téléchargement. L'utilisation elle-même du logiciel est limitée à un petit nombre d'appareils, mais il semblerait que cette limite soit extensible en rejoignant le service à la clientelle. De surcroit, l'utilisation de DRM limite ma capacité à consulter mes livres autrement. J'espère au moins réussir à les ouvrir dans un autre logiciel qui soit compatible avec les verrous d'Adobe. Malgré toute cette fermeture, la lecture demeure fluide et agréable, même sur PDF. Elle pourrait être raffinée, mais le problème n'est pas là. C'est que je ne suis pas libre de disposer de mes achats avec une liberté comparable à l'imprimé. Des alternatives sont possibles. L'éditeur O'Reilley est exemplaire dans son modèle de distribution. J'ose souhaiter que les libraires emboîteront le pas dans cette direction. En attendant, on doit faire avec ce qu'on nous offre.

Je déteste Je viens de constater que lorsqu'on achète un livre chez Archambault, on ne peut le lire qu'avec cette application médiocre. Elle n'a pas de fonction, elle ne retient pas la dernière page lue, incapable de souligner, et j'en passe. Acheter vos livres numériques ailleurs. Puis, même téléchargé, il me faut du wifi pour lire mon livre. Je déteste. Depuis la dernière version, je suis incapable de télécharger mon achat. Je vais faire une plainte.
