It's amazing how far we've come since the first computer. Absolutely incredible. Yes there are a few quirks, but it's still crazy.

This is a great tech demo. Would love to see these examples ported to WebXR now that it has the Depth API too. The only things that slowed my device (Pixel 3 XL) down were the mesh generators.

Good but can you add flashlight toggle and make [Point Cloud] Scan objects and environment faster.
★★★★☆Mark Shilo· Jun 1, 2022
Very cool. However does noy work in low light. Seems likebpointncloud should be able to be used as a night vision proxy, in total darkness. Would liken to save raw point clout for post-processing.

This app is really cool however the point cloud crashes Every time I try to launch it on Moto G power, other than that, I take enjoy it.

Using Object Placement sample on Pixel 4a 5g, when I try to place a virtual object behind a physical object in the environment, a white box covering virtual object is seen through the physical object. Is this the intended behavior? Also, many times, the virtual object appears in front of the physical objects, as it would be without depth API. Does the object placement work properly for anyone on Google Pixel versions supporting AR Core Depth API? Or does it only work properly with phones with ToF sensors?
