ARDrone Flight Pro includes all the ARDrone Flight Platinum Features: V2 Drone support, Flight Animations and Autonoumous Mode.
Use this app if you require all the Platinum Features without using the ARDrone Flight Platinum Features in-app payments, with extra Pro enhancements.
Pro enhancements include 3D orientation model; HUD attitude; new icons to maximise video area; hide all icons to fly by HUD; colour and saturation control for all UI.

V2 AR.Drones require a powerful Android CPU - Galaxy S is a minimum requirement when using local video recording recording with overlays.
Bebop support is dependant on the Parrot firmware, so no autonomous GPS, just wifi based under app control.
This software uses libraries from the FFmpeg project under the LGPLv2.1. This software also uses the unmodified JAR of Apache Commons Net licensed under the Apache License, Version 2.0.

Video Recording: * Video recording to a file and/or USB recording on V2 Drones. * Local video recording with optional overlay of drone flight information. When used without overlay this is in HD for V2 drones.
UI Configuration: * Fully configurable UI. * Control via tilt, on-screen joysticks or USB gamepads. * Individual icon, text and joystick scaling. * Separate joystick deadzones and sensitivities. * Colour and saturation sliders to change on-screen UI colour and intensities of all UI. * Hide all on-screen UI at the touch of a button to fly by drone video using the HUD.
Flight Control: * Fly by tilt, on-screen joysticks or USB gamepads. * Use normal, absolute or combined yaw flight modes.
Profiles: * Create multiple profiles for uses like indoor and outdoor settings; day or dusk UI; HUD on/off etc. * Profiles can be switched quickly from a UI icon.

Glad I Tried Iy Been flying almost every day for several weeks when weather OK using Free Flight and reasonably happy with a few minor control issues. I read about this app and tried it out with great success. Changing the Max height setting means your drone will crash if you go back to Free Flight, but I have no wish to. The absolute control is awesome and automatically adjusts as you turn round to face the drone. Tilting back always brings drone back towards you etc.etc. Love it love it and highly customizable.

More features than the Parrot AR Free flight application... AR Drone Flight Pro includes lots of features that are not included with the Parrot AR Free flight application, and lots of options to edit (incl. full UI options to add/ remove and scale all the icons on the UI) it also includes the option to use a Bluetooth or USB controller, and that's the reason I purchased it, I have a Moga Pocket (not the Pro) and have the Moga Pivot application and also the Moga Universal Driver and neither seems to allow setup of the Moga 100%, add official Moga support for 5*.

Unsure Have paid for both the pro and meavy devs other drone app, both not working on a Samsung 10.2. For some reason it won't download the maps for autonomous flight. It sits there waiting for navdata and won't connect even though I have it connected via Wi-Fi. If it didn't need the maps it might be ok. Struggling to get onto forums to get contact with developer to sort out. Not tinkering for a refund on both yet, if it can be sorted.

Very disappointed Hangs with Wi-Fi off, crashes with Wi-Fi on but not connected to drone, crashes when creating waypoints (key feature for me), combined yaw doesn't work, system movie storage doesn't work, etc. Of all the features that supposedly differentiate this from Free Flight none work for me. Reinstalling didn't help. After the excitement of reading of this app's capability this has turned into a frustrating waste of time and money.
