Description by LarzDoSan Written by the developer, not by AppBrain. Click to read.
ASL is the sign language used in the United States and most of Canada. Every letter and number comes with a clear hand sign, so you can practice anywhere.
SIGN CAMERA: PRACTICE WITH FEEDBACK
Make a sign in front of your phone's camera and the app tells you if you got it right. Practice each letter on its own, or play Sign Camera and Spell a Word to fingerspell whole words. Recognition runs on your device.
ASL ALPHABET AND NUMBERS
• Every letter (A–Z) and number with its sign
• Swipe through the whole alphabet without leaving the screen
• Letters you already signed with the camera are marked as done
• Search for words and watch them signed in short animations
TURN YOUR MESSAGES INTO SIGNS
Type any message and see it spelled out in ASL. Save it as an image or share it with friends and family.
LEARN BY PLAYING
• Word Challenge: discover the secret word hidden in ASL signs
• Flipping Cards: flip the cards and find all the pairs
• Drag and Drop: match each picture with its sign word
• Test your memory, Word in Sight and Guess the Letter
Choose a difficulty, beat your time and climb the leaderboard.
COLLECT YOUR SIGNS
Fill your sign album as you learn and play.
MADE FOR EVERYONE
• Left-handed mode that mirrors every sign
• Light and dark theme
• Available in English and Spanish
Whether you want to talk with a deaf friend or family member, support a student or simply learn something new, start with the ASL alphabet today.
Recent changes:
• Camera Sign game: Hard and Very Hard difficulties now show the target letter (previously there was no hint at all).
• Spell a Word: you can now type your own word to practice spelling with the camera, instead of only preset words.
• General improvements and bug fixes.
