Description
Astraware CodeWords is an addictive word game with a difference! You start with a crosswords style grid but instead of words, each codeword letter has been substituted with a number from 1 to 26. It is up to you to figure out which number stands for each letter in the cipher!
There are no clues but 3 letters are already in place to help you get started and each letter of the alphabet is used at least once. You start by guessing possible words and matching numbers with letters, until you've fully cracked the code - and your vocabulary and logical reasoning will be stretched along the way!
Did you know that the letter 'e' is the most commonly used letter in English? Did you know that 'th' is the most common pair of letters to be seen together? You'll use this knowledge and more as you make your guesses and work out the words!
Astraware CodeWords gives you access to play our free Daily puzzles - top the global leaderboard by completing the puzzle in the fastest time! For an extra challenge there is a Weekender puzzle available each Friday with a trickier grid and more unusual words.

Code Words is one of my favorite puzzles to play. Its super addictive and makes you use your brain forming words. Hours and hours of play.

Truly excellent, and VERY addictive game!! This is the best word game I've found in a long time. It's fun and challenging, but not impossible. The only issue I have is the building up of coins to play non-daily puzzles... I would Love to just play the game, and not have to watch 10 videos. I just don't have enough time to do both. Otherwise, this game is GREAT, and I highly recommend!!

I love this app, however it would be great if the game has the ability to make the letters on the grids bigger by zooming in. Right now I'm finding it difficult to focus on the letters in the puzzle, even though I wear glasses.

Downloaded the app and was able to play as many of the free puzzles as I wanted for 2 days before the entire app changed on me and started requiring daily currency to do which only allowed about 1 puzzle a day. Would have rated higher if not for this sudden change time gating puzzles that were not gated at all when I first downloaded the app.

Frequently get "There aren't any videos available" to get stamps. I'm not going to pay a yearly fee, so either make it totally free or make sure there are ads to watch.

Despite great gameplay, controls and graphics, I am giving this game one star. You cannot play if you don't have stamps. There are some free puzzles available, but daily puzzles need stamps. And in that context, this is a pay to play game.
