Great game, I love the daily challenge when having a cuppa, it starts my day off nicely by waking my brain up in a gentle manner. Keeps the brain working nicely. It's in UK English because I'm fed up with USA spelling in crosswords. Really recommend this game.

One of the better crossword apps you will find. Provides a decent challenge and gives a lot of content for free. It could use a couple of enhancements: 1) A one off paid option for removing ads would be nice. 2) Support for the device keyboard would be ideal. Currently, you are forced to use the in-app keyboard, and it is a bit hit-and-miss. Well worth a download though!

So sorry I had to uninstall because for no apparent reason it added 10 free stamps for plus. But I don't want plus. I didn't touch the stamps, and I uninstalled because I have not subscribed to anything, and it worried me.

It was great until the developer got greedy. Use to be a 30 second add for 10 extra stamps, now it's 60 seconds for 10 extra stamps. If you're going to double the ad time you should double the stamp reward! Uninstalled.

This rating is in response to an old update that changed deleting conventions. It used to be that you could long hold the delete key, and it would wipe the entire word. Now, you have to tap the key for every letter. Doesn't seem like the biggest deal, but it absolutely eats uptime for really long words (and because of the keyboard set up in-app, I usually end up hitting "l" more than once instead of the delete key). It's been messing with my scores :(Please fix this, that'd be great!!

Edited my review after some time with this app. I'm very disappointed that the one decent British crossword puzzle app suffers lazy (and often incorrect) crossword clues taken from everywhere else. The built-in keyboard is bad, why would it even be necessary. The moment I began it recommended an easy puzzle, I clicked the button and saw that it was instead a hard one. Lots of clues are ridiculously vague, others require research: seed coat is not called an aril. Aril is an accessory seed coat.
