★★★★★ It took me a while to figure out where the files were stored or how to play them back. I had to read through the reviews to find out you just need to swipe left. Why isn't that made clear on the screen? All you get is is a message showing they're stored in some folder some where in the guts of your phone. I know why the guy who developed this app didnt make it clearer where the files and play back is. Cos he's worked on this thing for hundreds of hours so it's all crystal clear to him so being a geek engineer type he thinks it will also be the same to the rest of humanity. Steve Jobs made Apple what it was or is by making things simple to use. Learn from that. Presume nothing. Make the app so easy to use a 5 year can use it. You need to add a setting where you can make the phone vibrate in your pocket every say 20 seconds on record. I use the app for recording the audio track for videoing with a lav mic. The pencil knecks at Rode dont make a android app for their lav mic. It would be good to have some feedback that the thing hadn't crashed. If it crashed or the phone crashed I have to re shoot the whole vid. I don't know why all these recorder apps dont have that option.

★★☆☆☆ Well, it does record audio files, that's for sure. But only in .wav format, and it cannot play them back, unlike every other audio-recorder app I've seen, and doesn't list your recording, unlike every other audio-recording app I've seen (so you have to hunt them down in the bowels of your storage. It also doesn't feature a level display showing to volume of the input or the ability to pause the recording, which is also a part of most other audio-recording apps. Can't speak to the recording quality, as all the issues liatd above were deal-breakers, so I never got that far. Maybe future versions will include features that will make this app competitive with the dozens (hundreds?) of other audio-recording apps.
