Great quality. Update: I have removed one star for the following reason... When I rename a music file, it sorts and displays that file by DATE MODIFIED, and I see no way to change it to DATE ADDED. Would be nice to sort by date added as I edit file names days or weeks after recording. Thanks.

No longer the best nor even good recorder because now, 6/20/26, it no longer runs unless I enable it to ALWAYS run in the background! I'd luvved this perfectly straightforward & simple recorder for over two years and seriously relied on it to capture musical ideas the moment those occurred to me, but tonight it demanded I re-authorize permissions AND added this new, completely unjustifiable & creepiest demand! Completely effed up!!

Has suddenly started blocking me out with ads for Temu, TikTok and other apps that I already have installed. Very unsmart. Can't exit ads except to record new items. Can't access existing recordings. Now urgently need an easy reliable app. Not going to pay £50 a year for this. Would sooner use cassette tapes.
