This is the companion app to set up the Audioengine B-Fi Music Streamer. Connect to your existing stereo and home network and stream high-resolution multiroom audio directly from this app, your favorite music services or music library using any phone, tablet, or computer.
HI-FIDELITY HOME MUSIC STREAMING
After setup using an Android device, any music player or streaming app can be used from any device to play all your music, including your favorite downloaded songs.
MULTIROOM LISTENING EXPERIENCE
Add additional Audioengine B-Fi streamers and turn any stereo into a multiroom music system. Control your music, volume, and speaker selection from anywhere in your home and play any song in any room (or all rooms).
VERSATILE PLAYBACK
If you’re into Pandora on your iPhone or iPad for example, select the B-Fi streamer as the audio output in iOS Music. Or if your favorite player has audio output settings, select B-Fi as the output directly in the app. And if you listen to TIDAL on your laptop, select B-Fi as the audio output within TIDAL or from the OS audio settings.
Aside from the fast setup, the best news is you’re no longer stuck using one product app as any music player will work for iOS and MacOS, as well as DLNA or UPnP streaming options for Android and Windows.

Works great for my needs. It's easy to group multiple devices for multiroom playback and just as easy to separate them so that I can send different music to different regions of the house.

The app is not great. IT works, and it has shortcuts built in for almost any other option as a music source. It will also play files directly from your phone. If you have an Apple device, just use AirPlay and stream directly from other apps. If you have Android, you need this app. It DOES support Amazon Music directly in the app. However, it is a bit slow. If you can't get Amazon Music to show up in the app, you have the older firmware. Contact the company and ask them to update it for you (not automatic). They offer superb customer service (just have to be patient for a call back due to Covid-19). You DO need the app for initial set up of the device, regardless of how you plan to stream music in the long run.

Have been using this app some time with 4 different Audio engine setups throughout the house. Multiroom streaming. Works flawlessly on both Android & iOS. Once Audio engine is connected, some 3rd party apps also work but in the end Audio engine app works the best. No dropouts. Of course, it depends on the building & Wi-Fi plus Internet bandwidth. Once initiated from DLNA server, the streaming takes place without chewing up the smartphone battery. Excellent! Love the MR speakers.

Possibly the worst music software available, rendering their excellent soeakers unusable. They do not respond to input. Third party software works better but volume control is difficult remotely. Extremely slow library loading. Will not import playlists. Does not import album art properly.

This app is disappointing. Works better with Spotify than Tidal and Amazon Music. Tidal has to be used within the app and the UI are crippled. Not easy to navigate and there is no access to mixes/radio like in the Tidal app. Spotify Connect requires a premium account and Tidal Connect is not supported. Also, Tidal HiFi steaming is not supported as of this writing. Chromecast Audio still preferred at this point.

Non-stop problems...too much to go into detail and not worth my time. Now I'm trying to see if this audio engine bfi is totally useless due to the poor audio engine control app.
