Previously I said Sonos had the edge, but that's no longer the case. The App and system are improving all the time and there isn't much the app can't do. Now days. As a control hub it's up there with the best and improving.

I only use the WiiM Mini by itself. Great device to get music to most older speaker systems. Plenty of features like deep EQ settings, output power limits. The Mini is still getting new features, through the apps' hardware update system

Always improving, and a generally great user experience. The developers are fairly responsive to suggestions and criticisms. Obviously required for WiiM hardware, but an actually good piece of software that I don't mind using. I originally purchased a WiiM ultra for the HDMI ARC support, to act as a simple AV receiver to connect my TV to entry level powered system. Worked great, bought the Amp Ultra and a better passive system and repurposed the old system to another room. Love it, and the app!

The app itself is alright, but I repeating struggle with connecting issues. Devices are not recognized since the last update, though the play music. Groups vanish and then appear again. Input via stable Wi-Fi. When everything works, it's great!

Extensively lacking an intuitive structure. And after a period of use, I can't say that there have been any substantial improvements. Please, try harder! Some examples: - After listen randomly during an evening, music system is turned off. When turn it on some day later, it will not continue from the last position. Another thing: After marked some tracks as Favorites; When press "Favorites", at bottom-left, .... Unfortunately seems like the maximum length of a review is reached here somewhere.

Keeps momentarily cutting out when streaming Spotify, tried reinstalling Spotify and the Wiim home app, but still the same problem, this is a new issue since updating.

Navigation labeling is inconsistent. When I add a track to a playlist, it says "my tracks" but under "my tracks", it isn't there. The "my tracks" page says "favorites is empty"; I'm not looking at favorites. Can't save a queue as a playlist, have to add one track at a time. Have to use other software to create playlists, if you want a folder plus subfolders. This is poor. Any playlist is cut at 1000 tracks, and that same playlist saved as a preset at 500? A dealbreaker. I'm returning it.

Doesn't work with brand new WiiM Ultra. After turning the Ultra on, the app recognized it needed setting up. However after completing the step to connect the Ultra to my Wi-Fi, the app stopped being able to find it. I tried rebooting the device and force quitting the app multiple times, it still never found my Ultra. After using the touchscreen on the Ultra to go into device settings, I saw a firmware update was available. After applying the update, the app finally found it
