To find your Wi-Fi compatible devices, the MusicCast app needs to access this Android device's location info. This app doesn’t collect your location using GPS.

I use basic features on one system only linking to Tidal. I find it generally reliable and very conveniently providing high-quality access to virtually all music from your armchair. I get occasional brief outages but whether this has anything to do with Music Cast is doubtful - it's more likely the internet.

Ever since the latest firmware update to my RX-A6A (May 2026), I can no longer stream music from my Samsung Galaxy Amazon Music App to the receiver!! Extremely frustrating! Several times now I have cleared cache/data from this app & Amazon Music app....still did not work. Twice now I have deleted both apps & reinstalled them.....NOTHING IS WORKING!!!! The UI on the Music Cast app is horrendous, so I prefer using the Amazon app.

THE APP CRASHES AND IS NOT RELIABLE, WHEN THE YAMAHA RECEIVER IS CONNECTED WORKS PERFECT BUT IT DISCONNECTS OUT OF NOTHING AND WON'T BE be ABLE TO MAKE IT WORK AGAIN, THE RECEIVER IS SITTNG ABOUT 10FT AWAY FROM WIRELESS ROUTER, THE APP IS THE ONE NOT RELIABLE MAKING THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE NOT WORTH BUYING ANY YAMAHA EQUIPMENT, ALMOST TO THE POINT OF WANTING TO TROW IT AWAY IN THE TRASH. THAT'S THE LEVEL OF FRUSTRATION, I KNOW HOT TO SET UP WIRELESS CONNECTIONS AND ROUTER SETTINGS TO AVOID CONFLICT

Would never recommend Yamaha for music. No slider to skip forward or back during local playback. LOL Not working: 1. Transmitting to in-ears (via Bluetooth) 2. Using equalizer. Unit: WXC-50. According to the manual it ought to work. Zero tech support. App: 0/10.

Amazing I love this! Makes life so simple. Update 8/24.... for SiriusXM can you just make one that says all music or add a search. There are internet stations that are missing from your lists!!! Please make the SiriusXM search function or list all. Updated 3/26
