I've tried lots of these kinds of apps and this is the one I like the best due to its ease of use; most useful features directly accessible, not overly complicated and well-designed display. The only feature I'd like is the ability to calibrate the audio scale to other units. Currently, it only represents the audio level as a negative -dB. A calibration feature would allow the scale to show a positive dB scale of the loudness of the frequencies at the location of the phone.

Using on my Amazon Fire 10. Great tool for anything amplitude/frequency related. Good look to the app, and has all the options you need in a portable AF spectrum analyzer. Over the years, I've paid hundreds of dollars for actual instruments that didn't work as well. I'm a retired electronics engineer (45 yrs on the job) and love all these new gadgets and apps.

Something is very wrong I plugged in a mic but no sound, so you lied about that. I've clicked on every sample rate and nothing I turned up the volume on my phone and still no sound, so if there's supposed to be sound then I do I accomplish that because I'm getting nothing, so I'll, I'm doing is just saying what my phone is doing, I see the spikes just no sound so how do I get it
