Very helpful. I identified several birds from their call with the app. Identified a few others from sightings.
★★★★★
Nice for identifying birds, but several features of the app are broken. When trying to upload photos for sightings, the photos never load. I tried creating custom lists but after clicking the save button nothing happens. No list is created.
★★★★★
Was able to identify two bird species fairly quickly, but couldn't correct the location.
★★☆☆☆
The updated pictures are beautiful but not great for determining plumage characteristics. That is required! There is also a really annoying bug on iOS and Android. When in the explore tab, if you select a hotspot you will see a list of birds recently seen at the hotspot. If you select a bird and click on the picture to view additional pictures of the bird, pressing the back button on top takes you to the field guide list instead of back to the list of birds at the hotspot. Please fix this bug!!!!
★★☆☆☆
Another great and functional birding app rolling out updates full of bugs during breeding/at lasing season. And still calls turkeys "rather stupid creatures" ffs... from a bird org despite years of complaints! ID search no longer works. Broken location. Searching species by name reverts back to all species in the entire state or country after all couple seconds and won't let you re-search without exiting. Maybe I need to go back to Google searches and books bc in the field this is a time waste.
