★★★★★ Excellent app you'll never carry a book in the field again, maybe have one in the car but I find after installing the collins app i hardly ever refer to books!

★★★★★ I love this app. It's very easy to use and has saved me from lugging a paper edition around for years. The calls and songs are invaluable. Suggestions: 1. Remove unnecessary words in common names such as "European" Robin as they're superfluous in a European bird app. 2. Include a beginner mode switch in settings. New birders shouldn't be trawling through Thrush Nightingales and Scrub Robins to find a common bird.

★★★★★ I've just started identifying the birds around me and this app is helping massively, especially with identifying bird calls. My only gripe is that the list function doesn't seem to have a view mode, it's all editing. Sometimes I want to go to my list and just view the details of each bird

★★☆☆☆ In-app purchases don't seem to work well, and not at all if you are a family member.

★★☆☆☆ The app is good and functional, but it is NOT updated, despite the fact that is NOT a free app. Many calls and sounds are missing (e.g. Nubian Night jar) for the species which can not really be seen without playback.

★★☆☆☆ I was expecting this to be the latest edition. Once purchased, you are told you need to pay another £7.99 to upgrade it to the latest version.

★★☆☆☆ Great app, but I'm not at all impressed that now I have changed my phone to a different OS, I cannot take Bird Guide with me, but have to pay for it again! Not on. Most disc huffed, and won't be bothering to buy it again. I shall use Merlin instead. Free, and just as fgod for IDing birds.
