Fantastic app, just like the book only you can zoom in closer, super sharp text, sounds and very easy to use. Obviously a lot of work has gone into this. BUT, im still waiting a filter in the settings to be able to view birds only seen in Britain. But, it doesn't seem like they read these reviews. I would buy the videos but unfortunately, they are a bit pricey. This app now lays the benchmark as one of the best bird guide apps.

I have just paid for the third edition, and I have a Google play receipt but the app has not updated, and I received a message saying "something went wrong at our end". Any advice? This is unfortunate as the app is generally excellent

Love it, especially the option to have birded names in multiple languages. But I recently learned the iPhone version is even more like a book, allowing you to scroll and filter through species easily - would be great to have similar UI on Android instead of cards!

Purchased to identify birds while out with the kids. Other than that I have no interest in birds. Immediately met with a banner to upgrade the app for the same purchase price again to get access to all the birds. Yeah I think no. Luckily I can still refund it so big disappointment from me on this one. Nowhere on the sales page it said this did not include all the birds.

It was much better, but suddenly my lists are just that, lists with no sorting, no grouping, loads of duplication and effectively useless. No search functionality in my lists. My love for this app is now antipathy at best

I was expecting this to be the latest edition. Once purchased, you are told you need to pay another £7.99 to upgrade it to the latest version.

The app is good and functional, but it is NOT updated, despite the fact that is NOT a free app. Many calls and sounds are missing (e.g. Nubian Night jar) for the species which can not really be seen without playback.
