At first, I was disillusioned as on all of my Android devices, it said 'No devices found'. The developer told me to activate location services in the privacy settings, which is wrong, but it did make me try enabling location and it worked! Scanning with a domestic aerial gave far more channels than the portable aerial, but it works well to paly the channels with only the portable aerial. The only downside is that it can only be used with one device. Developer: please add the need for location in the instructions. The manual doesn't mention this. I'm giving four stars because this is lacking, and I nearly returned the receiver.

Brilliant gadget. Works well even with the smallest aerial. Would like to have favorite channels feature (if there is one I can't find it) on the August 405 app instead of scrolling through. On the next update maybe?

I used to have the Piano tv app on my Galaxy Note 2 until it crashed and binned. I tried the Wi-Fi TV 405 app on another phone, but it would not connect to the device. Best way to get round that is to download the old version August t405 APK OLD VERSION I used Brave Apk opener on Google play store. Go into APK app and open the file. Click on your APPS. You will see SIANO TV.

The potential, the allure of it, not humanly possible to ignore. The execution, the implementation, renders the idea, the service, not humanly possible to work with. Scans channels that can't be watched. Crystal clear one day, nothing moved or changed, unwatchable the next. Same Ariel might find 60, or less, 100 or more, scans two minutes apart. Once I watched without any problems, once I couldn't get watchable reception for 40 mins. Nothing to help find or show signal strength.

Absolutely useless. Will not connect to device. Device crashes Wi-Fi. Does not work at all and cannot be made to work. Total junk.

App doesn't find the device so useless. Fortunately the Piano app does work so at least it hasn't rendered the device an expensive piece of plastic.
