I went back to Bürgeramt to get my 6 digit pin activated. This only took about 5 - 10 minutes. I supplied the correct pin on the app, and it works perfectly. I could access my data with no problem.

It works all fine except the ID card recognition depending on the protection cover of my mobile. Sometimes I have to remove the cover as otherwise the reader does not find the Cars

On the mobile works. Laptop and mobile connection doesn't work for windows. Managed to pair once but failed to recognize again. Tried restarting laptop and mobile app. doesn't work. My partner, macbook and iphone app pairing doesn't work.

The pin, in addition to the physical card, is too complicated. I have been locked out, and I don't honestly know why (except maybe because more than 3 years since last use?). So card is useless and correcting it will be even more annoying. At some point you just have to act in trust and audit in other ways. (worked fine for centuries).
