Excellent app Useful for so many things... from sailors to firemen and everything in between, everyone should use this app

MUST-HAVE App for WINDSURFERS and others out on the water!!! This is THE ONLY app that uses Official Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) data to indicate wind strength and direction, which is superimposed onto Google Maps at each of the Official BOM wind towers across Australia! BOM is the ONLY reliable information in Australia, as websites like sea breeze, willy weather, and others do not give you accurate information - instead they make their own incorrect calculations (e.g. Sea breeze gives a live weather reading for Cronulla, but there are NO wind towers there, so it cannot be trusted; the nearest ones are Watamolla and Kurnell - if you tried this App, you'd know this). Most importantly, this app is useful for Off-shore wind days, so that you can 'see what's coming' wind-wise, and avoid getting caught out on the water when there are dangerous gusts coming from across the state. Sea breeze FAILS to give you this information. I rate this as 5 stars, but also BEG the developer: Please update to allow custom wind arrow colors on the map (red - high wind - is actually 'green' in my world - "game on" for kite surfing), and to set up custom wind alerts, and to fix the occasional Force Close / Crashing. Will PAY! Has not been updated for quite some time.

Useless won't receive data. If you're out on the sea with this app. It will send you to your doom As a guide to safe seafaring this app won't help boaters with no data. Nice satellite photo but that's it no point no use. App makers should check their rubbish first before wasting people's time.

Food to have all wind on a map, but too clunky. Want to see values not just arrows I have to press. Always downloading data.
