Description
Auto Wifi is designed to extend your smartphone battery life, it automatically shuts off and turns on the WLAN. (Wireless toggle or WiFi toggle switch)
This tool is perfect to save the battery if you are staying often between places without WiFi. Personally, I have reduced the battery consumption of the WLAN by over 30% to 10%. The tool reduces the battery consumption and save the battery. It's a real energy saver.
It's activate after a defined interval the wireless network and retrieve the current position. If you are in a defined radius to the specified location the WIFI be enabled. Otherwise, the wireless LAN is disabled to save power.
It can travel up to 10 locations and the service can be started immediately after booting the system.
The Internet is used for advertising and Google Maps!

Manages to turn off the wifi unexpectedly Installed on my new "firesale" Nexus 4, it seems to have a mind of its own. The wifi goes off automatically after about five minutes. (This turns out to be the "Update Interval in Minutes" setting.) And it does this regardless of whether I am doing anything with the wifi. I thought I had been hit by the dreaded wifi bug on this device, but it turns out that installing Auto WIFI caused the issue. That certainly saves the battery, but does nothing for my sanity. Perhaps it is because I have other wifi apps installed and they are fighting among themselves. As Auto WIFI has less power, and fewer features, than WiFi Manager it has to go. I am still experimenting with adding and removing the app from various devices. Will report back if there is more to say.

It was disconnecting cell network I THINK this app was disconnecting my cell network. I uninstalled it and I don't seem to have the issue. Not certain if this was the cause. EVO 3D.
