Description
This simple app can help you increase the standby time of your device: WiFi Automatic automatically disable your WiFi radio when you don't need it and thereby lowers the battery consumption.
You can also specify to automatically turn on WiFi again, if you turn on your device or when you enter a specified location (requires a cell radio and therefore does not work on WiFi-only tablets!). Also, the app can regularly scan for available networks to connect to and re-disable WiFi if no suitable network is found. This way, you are always connected to your WiFi network when using the device.

A WiFi connection generally uses less power than a mobile data connection, so on your phone, it makes sense to keep the WiFi radio active, whenever a WiFi network is in range

It does what I want and nothing more. When I'm in certain areas, it turns Wi-Fi on. Outside of those areas, it turns Wi-Fi off. It saves me a lot of battery when I'm not at home or the office.

Great app I've used it for years. I set the app to turn on Wi-Fi every 30 minutes to search for a recognized Wi-Fi signal and if it can't find one within 4 minutes it turns Wi-Fi back off. I never have to worry about turning on or off my Wi-Fi and I don't need to use location services. Thanks for saving my battery!

This a fairly old app, and the system upgrade to Android 14 broke it. The app used to automatically toggle Wi-Fi on/off at preset times or conditions. But now every time I keep getting a popup asking me to allow this app to turn on Wi-Fi. This just defeats its purpose! Pity, we will have to start looking for an alternative that still works.

I am on Android 13. It switches off Wi-Fi as intended but when it should switch ON automatically, it prompts a message if it should switch ON, though it's allowed to Control Wi-Fi ... If I had to press a button to switch ON the Wi-Fi, then I might as well directly switch ON Wi-Fi. I had used this app ages ago flawlessly. Please fix it.
