Comments on Autowatch ID for Android

★★★★☆ John Smelt · Feb 10, 2026

I installed app, tried for about half hour to get my phone and app to communicate, watched an online video and found out reason why not connecting, firstly get in car switch ignition on then enter pin sequence to disarm ghost secondly push accelerator to floor and hold enter pin again and wait for the 3 bleeps, then press service button once while the app is open, in the app press plus button to add device and only then a pairing box will appear enter your pairing code, car will bleep again done

Works well for me. Took a while to get connected, but that's just the complicated nature of the immobilizer. Speeds up the whole disarm process but could do with an operational timer function.

★★☆☆☆ Toby W · Sep 20, 2021

App very unreliable put the code sequence in and the ghost app no matter how long I leave it searching doesn't find my device. The only way I can connect to it when the device decides to be visible is via the Bluetooth settings on the phone and connect to it that way but then the app just doesn't do anything and leaves my immobilizer disabled unless I turn my Bluetooth off which isn't practical at all. The software engineers need to thoroughly test their software before releasing it.

★☆☆☆☆ Steve Edwards · Aug 20, 2023

Thanks for all the feedback below, should have read it before I tried for half hour to get it to pair and have followed all the steps as per the manual including changing the disarm code and force remove. App just shows the enter pin in the pop-up when requested however it doesn't pop up. Give up. Will just use the pin which is more secure anyway. Developers should really fix the ongoing issues that people are reporting.
