The device has performed exceptionally, whenever I've forgotten my fob and I've gone to move the bike my phone has rung straight away to let me know it's on the move and will monitor it until I cancel it. The yearly subscription is very manageable even on a tight budget like most people are right now. I have peace of mind knowing that my bike is covered under Minamoto, thank you

I had trouble opening Minamoto on my new phone, and was about ready to give up. Luka at Minamoto guided me through the problem and saved the day. Thank you Luka.

Fails to log in on GraphineOS after hammering Google for device integrity checks. Use the Google Play Integrity API correctly and only request the minimum integrity level needed. I don't think this is malicious blocking of those who take security seriously, I think it's oversight and laziness. UPDATE: Support has been able to whitelist my account preventing sign in being blocked during device integrity check. I still object to the use of strong integrity checking, but I am now able to log in.

The app was working great until a recent update where there is a requirement of Google Play Services (not compatible with all versions of android). I submitted a support ticket and the Minamoto team had sorted the issue (by whitelisting my number) in a few hours. Very impressive response, I'll be sure to stay with Minamoto in the future due to the great customer service - it makes a big difference.

App logs you out when it updates. My motorcycle is *gone.* I was supposed to be getting push notifications that the battery on my tracker was low, but did not receive them because the app had updated and logged me out. So when theives took my motorcycle they took a bike with a tracker that had dead batteries. This feels like such an obvious oversight. Fix it. Minamoto, can you make it so that we get the same kind of call as when the bike starts moving when the battery starts getting low?

The app won't save the APN settings for my SIM card (MM5). Worked flawlessly for a few years but the last app update has reverted the APN settings to default rendering my Minamoto useless. The support team say fixing the app for this issue is low priority as 2/3g networks will be phased out. 2g networks have until 2033, so the app should be fully supported until then imho. I was offered a 10% discount to buy a newer model. I'm so dissatisfied by that lack of support of my existing device

So far it's a two, and that's assuming I will get support. App is buggy. Message us option, after app restart, has for no reason relocated out of Help section to a second (why two?), almost empty Settings screen that you can only come across by accident (Device menu, top-right side profile icon that doesn't take you to profile, About section). Device is not connecting to GSM network and is thus so far quite useless. 10 minute setup is very far from true in my experience.
