Absolutely amazing!!!! Got this Minamoto 7, and all I can say is that customer service is top-notch with almost instant response, haven't seen that quickly before, the device took minutes to set up, absolutely zero issues, I even put my bike up on a work stand and boom! Instant alert and messages, overall this tracker by far top-notch, thank you Minamoto!!!

Excellent product and excellent app. Especially where customer service and assistance is concerned too. The customer support are superfast responsive and will not let it you go until they have dealt with any issue you may have. Device seems okay but app is GODAWFUL. Can't register with phone no:"this app is not authorized to use firebase auth". What? Added with Google acct (I didn't want that). Adding dev:I bought 2 fobs, follow setup steps to the dot, MULTIPLE errors, multiple attempts. I end up with ONE fob ACTIVE. WTH? In app help I search how to add key fob. The help art from 2021 tells me to use nonexistent option from Settings menu! Oh, I tried to re-add it? App doesn't detect them! I hate it enough to return it.

The app won't save the APN settings for my SIM card (MM5). Worked flawlessly for a few years but the last app update has reverted the APN settings to default rendering my Minamoto useless. The support team say fixing the app for this issue is low priority as 2/3g networks will be phased out. 2g networks have until 2033, so the app should be fully supported until then imho. I was offered a 10% discount to buy a newer model. I'm so dissatisfied by that lack of support of my existing device

Up until an update (late 2025) this worked without fault. I can see the overall look has changed, but clearly something else has. Mine has a screen which says warning untested device. When I tap the screen, it says your GPS device has been installed but not yet tested, without testing functionality cannot be confirmed. Location data may be unavailable during an emergency. If ever an instruction was vague, this is it. Not at all happy, I now basically have a £100+ tracker which is useless.

So far it's a two, and that's assuming I will get support. App is buggy. Message us option, after app restart, has for no reason relocated out of Help section to a second (why two?), almost empty Settings screen that you can only come across by accident (Device menu, top-right side profile icon that doesn't take you to profile, About section). Device is not connecting to GSM network and is thus so far quite useless. 10 minute setup is very far from true in my experience.
