Look don't get me wrong IOS infrastructure of Av Plan is Flawless. Android infrastructure needs some work in my opinion. I've been using Av Plan on my Android for years and has never let me down. Only things I'd like to see is a new UI and maybe add some more custom Aircraft Data base like IOS. Other than that great App for flying.

Having been a long time user of the local competitor I recently switched to Av Plan for a flight across Australia. Had an old iPad 2 and was able to send my flight plans via on board Wi-Fi to a Dyson Sky view. Bloody ripper. Frankly the app performed flawlessly on iOS and true to the rumor preflight planning was a breeze. Installed the Android version and have a few bugs to iron out but let's get real, the customer service is outstanding when they're responding from home at 9pm. Great stuff!

It doesn't work. I keep getting notifications every 5 seconds which prevents me from doing anything. I got the app again and now I can't even login as navdata won't download

The app is stuck at the region selection... you can select a region, but there is no OK button and. You can't continue, basically the app is useless...

AVP LAN have been promising a decent flight planner for Android for many years. The promised upgrades never appear. Customer service is terrible. They take up to a week to reply and never address the problems. The Android version on the latest high performance tablet, freezes, crashes, fails and needs to be restarted in flight all the time. Unreliable and unsafe. Do not rely on this EFB in flight. According to Avian, Android users are only 10% of their income and do not deserve the same service as IOS users. Check out Garmin Pilot for Android, its years ahead of the competition when it comes to Android flight planners with OZ based telephone support and a better price.
