At the bases you discover throughout the world, you can make use of various facilities and interact with the NPCs who live there.
Complete their requests and earn their trust, and some may even join you on your journey.

■ Random Encounters and Companions

While exploring the field, you may unexpectedly encounter various NPCs.
You can talk with them, trade with them, or sometimes even choose to fight them.
Non-hostile enemies can also be hired as Companions in exchange for currency, allowing you to use their unique skills in battle.

In battles where lives are at stake, you may choose to finish off a defeated opponent after claiming victory—and if you lose, your character may die.

By conquering challenging content such as the Elite Arena, Otherworld, and Underworld, you can obtain special items that will give you an advantage as you take on the Tower.
