Comments on Babbel – Learn Portuguese for Android

★★★★★ Good App, easy to study. One thing though, the accents of the male and female voices are not from the same part of the country, so some words sound different and that could potentially confuse the learners. Words with "S" or "R" like "aspargo" or "esperto" sound very different in each pronounciation.

★★★★★ Great app for learning languages. Coming to Portuguese with literally zero knowledge and 2 months of easily digestible 15 minute lessons which I can do on my commute/lunch break/when I get home while my girlfriend is watching something else on TV, I can now listen to people speaking the language and get the general gist of their conversations. Better yet I can take the lessons and apply them to real life. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

★★★★★ just started Portuguese and loving it. i was afraid it's going to be hard to learn but so far seems easy

★★☆☆☆ Is not synced with desktop version, what's the point?

★★☆☆☆ It seems ok, except that the in-app keyboard does not have a hyphen key even though it is required for some of the exercises! Please fix this. Thanks

★★☆☆☆ Too advanced

★★☆☆☆ you should really tell me how much it's going to cost rather than just ask me for my credit card I want to know how much it cost before I give you my credit card

★★☆☆☆ This app is not for free, the first thing you are asked, is what subscription with indication of the prices. FAKE advertising
