Description
★ Top Developer (awarded 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2015) ★ AI Factory's Backgammon is the best free Backgammon game on Android!
Backgammon is a game of skill and strategy; one of the world's classic parlour board games, played for recreation and gambling. Like Mahjong, Backgammon is played in social groups in coffee houses and bars. Historically, variants of this game are believed to have been played in Mesopotamia and Egypt thousands of years ago, then by the Romans and later in India. It also spread to East Asia, but was largely replaced by Xiangqi (Chinese chess). It is now very popular in the West.

This is the only game I've continued to play for many years. It gets 5 stars from me. I do have a couple of issues: 1. I mainly play level 7 and 8. After thousands of games I've found the computer will almost always get more doubles when auto bearing off. I have trialed and counted many times with the same results. 2. Please, please introduce online multiplayer for backgammon :) response. Wow. I didn't accuse cheating. Try yourself. It only happens during 'auto' bear off.

Great game that I play every day! Level 8 is fantastic! No more silly computer moves, although I still think it could improve getting it's last pieces home. For example, if it rolls double 1's with three pieces one pip away from home and a fourth piece 5 pips away, it will move the piece 5 pips away four spaces instead of bringing the three pieces one pip away home first. Other than that, I'd love to see a way to play other specific users, so I can play my friends, even those on iphones.

This game does cheat. Computer gets every roll it needs every time. For me 1-2 four times in a row. This game does cheat. Instead of lying and showing us a page YOU CREATED post a video of a game where the dice rolls are "fair." Showing something you created as proof just proves more that this is the case. Liars.

It cheats ridiculously. Ever wonder how these backgammon games vary their level of difficulty? Here's how: on the most difficult settings, the computer gives itself doubles much more frequently early and late in the game, when they do the most good. Meanwhile, the probability that you will roll at least one 2 - 1 late in the game, when it does the most harm, is near 100 percent. This game is a joke. Unfortunately, the joke's on you.
