BandUp IELTS Speaking Practice

Practise IELTS Speaking out loud — and find out what band you would get.

BandUp runs a real mock speaking exam. An AI examiner asks the questions, you answer with your voice, and the timing is the exam's, not yours. When it ends you get an estimated band score with feedback tied to the exact sentences you said.

WHAT YOU GET

• A full mock IELTS Speaking exam — Part 1, Part 2 with the one-minute cue card preparation, and Part 3 discussion, run to the real timings
• An estimated band score in half-band steps, overall and for each of the four criteria: Fluency & Coherence, Lexical Resource, Grammatical Range & Accuracy, Pronunciation
• Feedback quoting your own answers, so you can see the line that cost you and the better version of it
• Word-level pronunciation analysis: which sounds are letting you down, and which words to practise
• Your speaking stats — speaking time, words spoken, words per minute, and whether your Part 2 long turn ran long enough
• Every mock saved, with a progression chart so you can watch your band move

HOW IT WORKS

1. Pick a short mock (about 5 minutes) or the full three-part exam (11–14 minutes)
2. Put your headphones on and find somewhere quiet
3. The examiner speaks. You answer out loud, like the real thing
4. Your report is ready in about a minute

WHY IT WORKS

Reading about IELTS Speaking does not make you better at it. Speaking does. Most people preparing alone never say a word out loud until the exam itself, then discover under pressure that fluency is a skill they never practised.

BandUp gives you the one thing solo preparation is missing: an examiner who asks, waits, and then tells you exactly what your speaking is worth right now.

The band estimate is not flattered. A score that tells you what you want to hear is worth nothing on exam day.

BandUp is an independent practice app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to IELTS, the British Council, IDP: IELTS Australia, or Cambridge University Press & Assessment. Band scores are estimates produced by an AI model for practice purposes and are not official IELTS results.
