Just what we've been looking for so long! So many other apps try to hone in the money being real as a feature, which is irrelevant to most kids. We wanted a way for them to visually see the money they'd earned from birthdays, chores and pocket money, and to see the power that compound interest can have on their savings. What a great app; thank you to the creators!

Great option to provide your child with "virtual pocket money" and to begin understanding the value of money. It's a no bells and whistles solution to pocket money - and as long as you are "invested" (*wink*) in the process, it does the basics well. Set up an automatic allowance and then when your child wants to spend "their" money, perform a debit against their account using the app, or online. I'd say this works best with young kids where they don't actually need to "have" money - just understand it exists, its value and how pocket money works. It's rough around the edges, but it works well for us.

I bought this version wanting to upgrade to Kangaroo Plus because I primarily wanted checking, saving and donation. I was willing to pay the whole $8, but the app won't let me access the Plus version. So it's completely useless to me. I wrote to report the bug but didn't get any answer. It's really disappointing. This app would have saved me time.

I went to download the app, which had 2 versions: Student & Family. Student was free (assuming for the Child or student using the app) & the Family app had $2.99 cost. I did purchase thinking this was the upgrade to Kangaroo Plus Edition. After purchase, I noticed that was incorrect. There is an additional fee of $4.99, for the plus edition upgrade, a total of $8. I knew the upgrade was a cost, but I wish it was more clear on the website.
