It's OK, BUT... ...walking around the Metro in Barcelona holding your mobile phone is going to attract thieves like flies around a turd. Barcelona has the worse crime rate against tourists in the world, so be vigilant. Carry only the cash you need and hide your phone well! The whole City is an armpit and the locals won't help you. Chivalry and gallantry are words that do not feature at all in the Spanish dictionary. You've been warned folks!
