Scan product barcodes and QR codes with your phone’s camera. Look up product names in available databases, search Google, and revisit saved scans in your history.

PRODUCT LOOKUP

Point your camera at an EAN or UPC barcode. The app reads the code, checks its check digit, and searches for matching product names.

If several names are found for the same barcode, they appear as a list. You can also search Google for the barcode with one tap.

QR CODES

Read QR code contents as text. If a QR code contains a web link, tap to open it in your browser. Links never open automatically.

SCAN HISTORY

Keep scanned codes and available product names on your device. Long entries are shortened to two lines. Tap an entry to expand the full text.

From your history, you can refresh product names, search Google, or delete an entry.

THINGS TO KNOW

Product name lookup and Google Search require an internet connection. Reading codes and viewing saved history work offline.

Product names come from third-party databases. Information may be missing, inconsistent, or incorrect. The app displays available matches and does not verify a product’s authenticity, quality, or safety.

A valid check digit indicates that the code passes a mathematical check. It does not verify the product itself. A GS1 prefix does not indicate the country of manufacture.

Data sources include Open Food Facts, an open database available under the Open Database License (ODbL).
